READ: Zech. 14:20,21 God is preparing His church for the Last Day by making her ever more holy. This has been happening especially since Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit, the great Sanctifier, came to dwell and work in the church. In verses 20 and 21, Zechariah reveals what this sanctification entails. Nothing in life should

READ: Zech. 14:10-19 In verse 10, we see the new Jerusalem rising in Old Testament imagery as the city of foundations, drawing all attention. READ: Zech. 9:1-17 Here we hear the LORD intervening to protect His people. Several powerful cities that posed a threat to God’s people are destroyed by the LORD: Tyre, Sidon, and the pagan Philistine cities. This brings an end to worries and uncertainties. The entire land of Canaan is freed for habitation. However, a remnant

READ: Zech. 8:14-23 The question of whether or not to fast with special attention to prayer on certain days is not of great importance to the LORD. The LORD neither commanded nor forbade it. What always matters to Him, both before and after the exile, is living in His covenant, loving Him, and obeying His
